need some help

Default need some help

I bought a 2007 Sportsman 500 today.. I installed the winch today for the plow that came with it., but am not sure which wire in the ignition switch I am to hook the red wire too from the up/down switch..

Whichever wire is hot when the ignition key is turned on according to the wiring diagram I have for my X2 that has a Warn 2500 on it.

under head light pod the little panel you can pop out there are 2 orange with white tracer wires. Hook up to one of those wires.

I ended up hooking it into the lighter plug.. thanks for the reply's

any hot wire will work as long as it's powered by the key. welcome to the forum.
