Changing Transsmisson Fluid????

Default Changing Transsmisson Fluid????

I think ive got water in the tranny and i can find and plug or anything so i can check anyone know where it is ???

what kinda machine?, should be on the bottom of tranny, maybe a skid plate that has to be removed

You'll have better luck getting an answer if you post what quad you have.

the diagram that I found shows a hex plug on both sides of the transmission. I don't know if this will help or not, but here's the link if you want to check it out

There is no dipstick on your 500 trans/rear end. Left side (Same side as your oil cap and filter) fill plug and right side is a drain plug. Takes approx. 1qt. or to the bottom of fill hole. Should be about half way back on the trans/rear end. If you suspect water intrusion CHANGE IT!!! A quart of fluid is much cheaper than costly repairs down the road in the event that there is in fact water in there.
