spark plug removel

Default spark plug removel

how in the hell do you remove the left plug in the 700 twin,,

holy crap! talk about wanting you to take it to the dealer for service!

it's just a spark plug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the right side one was hard but man o man!

do i really need to take the gas tank off or is there a sp tool???

help please. the ole' girls running on one!

u can do it without removing the tank, its a major PITA, take ur socket with an extension on it, drop it down in the spark plug hole and than put ur ratchet on it, before u completely unscrew the plug take ur ratchet off the extension and bring it out with just the extension and socket

have to do both from the right side. as stated it can be a pain but it can be done, inspect plug wire boots and put some di-electric grease in them while their off

It is a pain. I had to scrape a lot of dried mud and debris just to get at the plug. I blew a lot of compressed air to make sure everything was clean before plugging plugs. I used my wife's compact case with the mirror to see into the opening. Definatley a knuckle buster.

Default Can be done but...

I can attest that it can be done, but a major PITA. You'd better have small nimble hands and expect to scrape tham up alot too!!
