Default Scrambler plastics?

I am rebuilding my 2000 scrambler 400 for my son...I am putting new plastics on it for him.
he would like white in color not the red...My question is will the 98 scrambler white plastics
fit the 2000 frame mounts? if not is it still doable? I can only figure the fuel shut-off being the major difference.

I am pretty sure they are the same. I got a 1996 scrambler and a 1998 trailblazer and only difference is the headlight. Trailblazer is built in and the scrambler headlight is on the handlebars. My buddys 2005 scrambler looks the same. Heck even his seat fits on mine. ( kinda like the wider seat myself)
