Putting ITP SS Rims on a Scrambler 500
I have decided to keep my Scrambler instead of selling it for a Can-Am. The deal was that if I keep it...I make it really nice. I have seen a picture of SS108 rims on a few scramblers and i know for a fact that they will forsure fit. You just need to buy Sportsman 4/156 rims for the front and Golfcart 4/4 rims for the rear.
I have talked to a couple of ATV tire specialists just to make sure I could for sure do this.
Whenever fitting any type of different rim on a Scrambler you need to have a one inch bigger tire in the front than what is in the rear.
Example: 26X8-12 Front and 25X11-12 Rear.
I can get a really good deal on four 25" tires all around. Since I wont be running a bigger tire on the two fronts how much could this affect my 4X4 system?
If the 4X4 still works I couldn't care less if i run 25"s on all four rims but if my 4X4 wont work at all then ill have to find two 26"s for the front.
So my question is...can I run 25" tires on all four rims without affecting the 4X4? Is it necessary to run 26"s in the front?
Here is a picture of what mine should look like when its done....Stole the picture from an old member here
Thanks alot!

I have 26's all around on my scrammy. 4X4 works just fine and engages like it did with the 22's and 23's. I stretched my swing arm because I didnt want to cut or move the running foot boards. I am also running a 2000 6X6 hi lo trans from a sportsman. The gearing is a little better for a bigger tire.
