Personally I think the best feeling is just riding quads….

When I here statements like this: “When I pull up to other brands like Honda, Yamaha, and everything else with my SP H.O I know I’m in full authority.” All I want to say is pull your head out of you’re A$$. Obviously this person must have an inferiority complex.

Polaris makes a fine quad but the are far from superior to any other brand. The options Polaris quads have like IRS, Disc brakes and 2-4WD option maybe seen as benefit to some but others can see them as potential problems too. That would make it a less than perfect machine for them. There is no perfect machine for anyone. Just ride.

i agree we need to all shut up and ride what we ride. but that will never happen. we are human like i said before and we will always brag our stuff up. it is mostly done in humor but sometimes it can get out of control. it isnt like anybody on this forum would leave another rider stranded even if he was riding a homemade quad with a briggs enguine. although we "fight" i bet every single one of us would enjoy the opportunity to ride with or help a fellow atv rider out. we need to sit back and smile when other people slam our machine!!
p.s. "my quad is better than yours" lol

Polaris feeling... When I didn't guite make it the first time through a deep ditch and front bumber got hanged up on a log. I just backed up a bit and hit the trottle and I jump out of that hole like a jackrabbit.
When going through a mud hole up to my seat and it barely slowed me downed.
Going up or down a rock face that should make you chew on your underwear till you look back and say to yourself, "WOW, that's just amazing"
Best of all, it's when i get on it and start it up and go for a ride.

I can see a bike like the Rubicon not having true 4wd,disk brakes, selectable 2/4wd and short straight axle suspension to keep things simple but why does it cost $2000 more than a SP500 H.O to have less? There was a 450es parked beside a Rubicon on the show room floor and unless I looked at the fins of the motor they were hard to tell apart and the 450 was $8100 while the Rubicon was $10000!

I have the same feeling, but its a little different however its because I own Honda's. As long as you enjoy your ride that all that counts. Are people envious of Polaris? Maybe a some, but I am not. I ride the best selling ATV's out there, Honda. Yes, Polaris is good also, or else they wouldn't be #2 in sales!

Your smoking something if you think the Rubicon is $2000 more than the Sportsman. They both have the same MSRP. Right now both are running $6300 in our area. So flip a coin. The Rubicon is a good machine but I wouldn't pay $2000 more for it. Even if you are talking Canadian money.

It kills you guys that the Rubicon beat the Sportsman in one shoot out. So what? The sportsman won. You guys bring up the disk vs drum brakes. The only place the disk are better is for major riding in the mud. I have 1100 miles on my original crappy drum brakes. Not to many Polaris owners can say they get that kind of mileage out of there original brakes.

Here,s our Honda dealers Toll free number (1-877)949-7222 if they tell you they sell the Rubicon for less than $10000 I will buy the thing for you.

Here is our Polaris dealer 1(705)759-4466 Tell them you have $8400 to spend on a 2001 SP500 H.O and they will say come over and pick it up. Remember the $1600 difference has 15% tax on it so it,s $1800 difference.

I know exactly what you mean. I had a Magnum 325 for a short time and I got the same feeling. Of course it isnt no SP 500, but when riding with a bunch of guys on Kawasaki 300's it is a very impressive quad.
