Default Sprtsman front spring spacers. (sticky) ...what r they for?

So I was reading the sticky about the front spring spacers...what is the prupose? a lift kit basically? If so why would ya want to jack up the front end and not the rear.
I am prolly off base with that assumption please enlighten me.

The front springs tend to sag so your wheels look like this / \ spacers bring it level | |. I choose to go with HD springs since I added a winch and carry extra stuff on the rack.

as reno mentioned that all sportsmans w/ these weak springs start to sag over time and even faster when you put more weight on the front end say like a brush guard and winch and if you fill the storage up front or carry things on the racks they tend to loose there stiffness. so being cheap i desided to make spacers out of cpvc pipe and cuplings to add an extra 1 1/2" to take up some of the slack. it worked good for me and thought i would share it.

Polaris make a version of these as well only a little better to adjust by using only one spanner wrench compared to the 2 it takes with the TM-2's. I installed polaris' on my 800 which is nice because when you dont need the extra clearance you can adjust them down to stock and back up depending on you load. I gained 1 3/4" front ground clearance when they are adjusted up. It might not sound like much but makes a world of difference when you need/want it

Spacers are a cheaper faster fix for people who do not what to put on HD Springs.

If you really what them stiff use the spacers as well as the HD springs. I put HDs on the front and back.

tm2 makes spacers for $20 in case you don't want to spend $80 on the pregressors. tm2
