I was about to give up on my dealer. he never called, or let me know what was going on. All I know he had a $1000 deposit and no bike. In fact I was so upset that I had a deal going on at another dealer for a 400ex for $5300. But then the call came in, they found one and if I want to see it, they would show me. Boy am I glad I waited. As soon as I saw it, I said that baby is coming home. Then he told me that there not planing on making any more,the ones that are out there is all there's going to be. what a shame!

Actually, a guy I ride with bought a 2000 scrambler, which came red, and he was able to special order the yellow plastic, and sticker kit. Maybe some of those yellow ones came red? He said he could've ordered the purple 1998 kit also. Sam shape, just different colors. I can't see polaris sticking any yellow owners with a broken fender, so I'm guessing you could still order the plastic...just guessing.

 

how much was the plastic? and why don't they offer yellow as a full time option people seem to love it.
