scrambler bigger tires
i have a 2005 scrambler 500 . it has a exhaust , uni filter , Ritter clutch kit and carb mod so i can run open air box,Thinking of putting on 25 in tires . not a good selection of tires for the stock size . It has swamplites on now, not to impressed with them. I am not a big mud rider but i do like to explore trails with out having to turn around because of big mud hole.if i go with larger tires how much performance will i lose . or should i just suck it up and keep winching my self out.I like to ride all kinds of trails from fast power lines to deep swamps .

BUY A JEEP!! LOL!! Just kidding!
Did you think about changing your gearing on your sprockets? My hubby did that to my Scrambler (I have the same one as you do) and its SO much better! Its fast out of the hole. Lots more power - it doesn't just sit there and just creep off and then get going.
I have funky big ol' super treaded LAWN TRACTOR tires on mine. My stepson works at a tire store and someone ordered them and then didn't want them. I got them cheap. They work good!

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

DITTO on this.Either way you can gain some of the power loss back by lightening up on the secondary setting or going to a lighter spring
