Going to pre-mix and eliminating the oil injection will drop around 10 lbs. I took 23 lbs. off of my chassis ( NOT the Scambler ) in the last month and feel alot better. I know that the quad will appreciate the lighter load...

Removing the battery and starter would be a big weight savings. Mine start's surprisingly easy with the pull start, but don't know if it's really worth the inconvenience. I think I heard someone say that 7lbs. is worth 1hp.?

I use to tell everyone to get rid of the oil injection to play it safe. But someone told me that the oil injection system adjust it's self through out the power band.It sets it,s self at 80:1 at idle,50:1 in the middle and 20:1 at full throttle. He said mixed the gas at 50:1 will cause it to be to rich at idle and to lean at wide open throttle. Is this true?
