Clanking in rear of 2004 trail boss 330

Default Clanking in rear of 2004 trail boss 330

Everytime i pull out it bangs in the back or or on the side not sure where and it only happens when going slow or pulling out. When you gain speed it doesnt do it any ideas what it can be. Thanks

Could be wheel hub slack,rear carrier bearings worn/loose,kinked chain link,too much chain slack?
Jack up rear end,check play on drive shaft see if its loose. OPT

hey do you think it can be something in the tranny also just in case they dont work thanks alot for the help

Not sure hat you mean by clunking but I have had several trail boss machines and everyone of them eventually needed a silent chain. It is a chain in the transmission that gets loose. Sounds like a sprocket jumping a couple teeth when you take off sometimes. TonyT

Check your belt too. If your belt has a burned spot, it will make a clunking sound at low speeds.
