O.K.I Give up,cant find the problem,i took the atv to the polaris dealer friday,they looked at it on saturday and could not find the problem either,they are going to give polaris a call on tuesday for some ideas,i will keep you posted.

 

sxr, Yeah that liquid electrical tape is good stuff to coat those exposed wires you mentioned. Crap gets all over if you're not careful, but bonds to everything and completely seals out water. Don't get it on your hands, they'll be red or blue for weeks. Nasty stuff.

Good luck with the short. PITA, but at least you're not getting towed back.
