Default Made the purchase

Just bought an 2011 xp850 eps le any one with any advice on the machine. So far its seems awesome but time will tell. Only two miles on it can not wait for the break in to be over. Any one know if it will keep up with an outlander 800 once broken in.

Nice buy, no question about it! Those new XPs pull HARD, will definitely keep up with an Outlander. The new engines will actually run better and better as they get worn in. Bought my dad a 550 for his 55th birthday and he's been extremely happy with it

Slight edge to the Outy 800 from what I've seen, speed-wise. More comfortable ride than the Outy though. Great quad. Congratulations.

Default 850xp

one of our riders has a o9 i think , with a small lift running 31 laws, he has had several problems with ball joints, tie rods, an had a gear reduction added, the mechanic that did the gear job showed uc a spacer that he could not find a place for, so he left it out, we took the quad as we had a planned ride that weekend, every time he got on the gas then let off the trans would lock up (forward or reverse)an the belt would get wet in any water at all, fought that crap all weekend, took it back to dealer (same dealer diff mech)they had to replace the entire trans, but said the belt getting wet was from our snorkle job, ended up puttiny water hose in belt intake an filling it until water came out the ex side of the snorkles, found the water leaking from the inner belt houseing , the first mech had used a grinder of some sort to remove the sealant from the mating surface to the engine case an messed it all up, the2nd mech missed seeing this an put it back on useing some cheap sealant, the pressure in the belt houseing blew the sealant out an it leaked agian , got that fixed now its doing well. i guess the point i am trying to make is do not let just any *** hole work on your machine
