Default Removing throttle from 250 Trailblazer

I am having trouble removing the actual throttle cable off the end of a bracket, the bracket is hooked shaped attached and is located just before the very end of the actual throttle cable. Any help?

Welcome to the forum! Just adjust the throttle housing cable adjuster all the way in to allow slack, just use a small pair of needle nose pliers and twist cable until it lines up in the slot in the bracket and lift up,cable and cable end will come out of the bracket. OR if you're talking about removing cable from the oil pump, just loosen bottom 10 mm lock nut on oil pump cable support, adjuster can be pulled up and out, while hold oil pump lever up,just twist cable to where it lines up with slot in arm and pull cable out OPT
