Have you checked the resistance readings against the manual? Hard to remember without a schematic diagram I could look at,but the coil does have the main connector and two individual wire connectors I believe are for the kill circuit,that's probably the brown and white?? Just check against the manual you have! OPT

SORRY,I said COIL when I meant to say CDI Blame it on old age OPT

haha i'll let you off mate all the help you been giving me.
not done readings yet as preparing a car for its mot.
the white does go to cdi but other end goes to the same place as the brown behind flywheel.
