2007 500 EFI Stalls
#1
I have a 2007 Polaris 500 efi with 1078 miles. Every once in a while it stalls out. Usally at very low speeds. It does start back up after a couple of turns of the key. It is not constant but is haping more often.
Has anyone experince this?

Most common problem was shorts in the map sensor harness. Can cause stalling, backfiring, rough idle. #2876315 is the repair harness kit if this is the problem,PLUS there are now after market heavier duty kits available. Plus check the simple things like air filter, spark plug change. Plus read the "sticky" about efi problems. OPT

If it is when you let off the throttle completely try checking the throttle housing assembly just above the thumb throttle. Open it up and you'll see 2 brass contacts. If they are making contact your throttle cable needs to be adjusted. There should be at least a 1/16th of an inch clearance between the 2 contacts. The adjustment is on the cable below the right handlebar area.
