Can a 500 motor off a 2007 EFI go right into a 2001 500(after the motor is taken out), or are there some changes that have to be made. Thanx in advance

The Fuji motor never changed, there fuel intakes for throttle body or carb should be the only difference I would think.

you should be able to change it. you might have to fool around w/ jetting a little and the exhaust might be a little differnt. just guessing.

Except for one gets its fuel/air mixture by a 39mm throttle body and the other a 40mm carb, the motors are the same.

Top Pic is a 2007 efi and the lower pic is a 2001 H.O the intakes for carb and EFI. Parts #37 and #38 are the only difference.
