Possible thermistor limiter module (LR-60)located under the front cover(next to the regulator/rectifier) shorting out causing constant hot light OR the thermistor sensor itself on the oil cooler, but usually if this one shorts out the fan will run constantly.Unplug the sensor at the oil cooler and jump across the main harness connector, fan should kick on,if it doesn't could be another sign the under hood module is faulty. Plus also under the front cover is a 10 amp circuit breaker for the fan in a black sealed pouch, make sure with key on that it has 12 volts on either side of red wire with a test light. OPT

i checked circuit breaker have 12v at both sides.checked thermister with ohom meter and oham goes up with engine temp.if jump 2 yellow at controler and fan comes on,when doing that the temp light comes on,but fan runs.the temp light glows all the time(dim).if you run long enough the tem light comes on bright?

If the oil cooler thermistor resistance changes as it gets warm (should do this) then probably limiter module internal short sending signal to hot light whether its cold or hot! PLUS fans on these oil cooled machines seldom kick on unless they are super hot. I'd check the wiring from the light for any shorts,if all seems ok,then I'd replace the module.. OPT
