2004 or 2004 1/5

I have a 2004 sportsman 500 and looking to get some parts and i'm being asked if its an 04 or 04 1/2. How do i tell??? Thanks

If your awd is in the hubs its an 2004 model. The 2004.5 had just started with the centralized awd system the same year on certain models. OPT

Also, the 2004.5 has the digital fuel gauge were the 2004 doesn't have a fuel gauge at all
