Default carb adjust on Sportman 600 twin

There is an adjstment screw on the bottom of the carb right in front of the float bowl.
I think its an air adjustment . does anyone know how many turn out from being screwed
in or seated?
Thanks,
van

If you mess with it count the number of turns to lightly seated in first! This is the fuel/air screw and is normally sealed off from the factory with a plug unless tampered with. Depends on altitude but should be between 2-3 turns out. Controls mainly the idle circuit and is best fine tuned with a carb adjuster that you can adjust while running. OPT

Another problem, when you hit the throttle it takes a while to
idle down. Its almost like there is a vacuum leak.
What should I check?
Thanks,

Check under the carb intake manifold clamp for cracks. Bad about this on the 600 and 700 models. Could be sucking in air. OPT
