Default Question about motor swap

I picked up a 01 Trailblazer 250 in fairly rough shape, however it did come with the original 250 that needs a piston (skirt is all busted up, etc) the previous owner just set a polaris 440 sled engine in it and was looking to try and get that going in the quad.
Has anyone tried this yet? It would be sort of interesting to do. My thoughts are to just rebuild the 250cc for now and put that back in then in our down time try and do the swap. The 440 is complete with clucth etc and has similar connections. From the engine just sitting in the frame, it's a tight fit.
I'd like to get a lil feedback and see what others have done as well.

Thanks,

Another member put a 700 sled motor in a Scrambler which is the same frame, so it is possible. It was a lot of work and he had to custom fab some new parts.
