Ok so I got my predator back from the shop and there is NO up and down play in my lower rod bearing. There is a little side to side and I have read thats normal. The thing that I'm wondering is....is it normal for the flywheel to have some slight side to side slack? When It grab i and turn it I can feel a little bit of slack there before the engine rotates. It seems normal but I want to be sure.

 

Also how can I tell if I have a bent valve?

 

If you have the head off, just prop it up so the port is up and pour any type of solvent into the port.

See if it leaks out. If so, will there you go.

If the engine is together then do a leakdown.
