Default Help locating plastic for my 2000 Sportsman 500

I just bought a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 today that was definitely rode hard and put away wet. Originally the plastic was red, but now its pink. It's also missing the side panel plastics. I'm thinking about trying the camo wrap, but first I will need to locate some used (or new) side panels that will fit this 500. Couple questions: Where can I find some plastic to purchase other than ebay? And will the side panels off a 2000 Polaris Magnum Xplorer 500 fit? Thanks for your help-----Chris

I was going to mention eBay. I've seen plastic for that style of Sportsman many times on there. Only other place I can think of to try is Craigslist or your dealer. Sometimes the dealers have leftover pieces from older models they're willing to give a price break on.

Maybe try an ATV salvage yard?

ATV Salvage Yards in North America.

All Sportsman's 425/450/500 Plastic. from 1996 to 2003 or 2004 should work. Maybe the Magnums and Xplorers as well since there the same except for having a straight axle not IRS.

Even a Magnium 325 has the same frame/seat/racks and plastic as a 500 Magnium. but some have no 3rd headlight pod.
