Default Scramblin!

Was looking to upgrade my daughter's 300 Sportsman and got a great deal on a 2010 overstock 500 Scrambler HO! Took the weekend off so we can head to the cabin and break it in properly-lol Wanted a Sportsman 500 EFI but all the local dealers had around were carb. Figured if I was going with a carbed machine I'd get one that we could roost on too!!!

Enjoy the new atv and the quality time with the daughter! Time passes too quick and I realized that almost too late with my son, who's 32 now and regret all the times I missed when he was younger because I was at work too much and didn't take the time off! You can't make up for it ! OPT

Thanks OPT! I know what you mean. Wheeling/outdoors will hopefully help us survive her teens and keep us close :-)

Scrambler is a fun machine. Just keep that chain oiled. I had an older Xplorer and I liked the Polaris chain lubricant. If my memory (faulty as it's getting) serves me right it was a siliconized oil.

I agree with the both of you. It's been a blessing these past few years to go riding at least a few times a year with my oldest son who is know almost 20 years old. These past 8 or so years have been good. We have many memories that we can sit around and jaw about.

My wife has 05 Scrambler and absolutely loves it. The best part is my daughter (she's 25) likes to ride it too, so when we get together they can boh enjoy themselves.

Had a great weekend riding. My daughter loves it and I got to take it out for some roosting on the trails too. Going to have some great times together with this ride for sure!

Good choice with the Scrambler for a machine to just go out and have fun. I also looked at an SP 500 before I bought mine, but I know I have much more fun riding my Scrambler than I would on a SP or any other utility quad.
