Great Thread! More manufacturers should do some real world testing like this.

I stiffened up my front springs, set them on the middle setting and went for a ride.

I couldn't tell a difference in the ride but the front doesn't squat as much anymore and I could tell that there is more ground clearance, not much but noticeable.

I might stiffen the rear a notch or two and add one more to the front and then take some trails to see how the adjustments affect stability.

And I put the XTRs back on today too. Doug wants the Maxxis Ceros for his RZR 570 after installing a Utah Street Legal kit on it. After all they do look like truck tires.

I think the quad looks happier with the XTRs on it.

I was also surprised at the A you gave it considering the problems that you have had . With the low mile's you have on it a A should only be given to a machine that has been problem free .

In that case I would have to give my Rubicon an A+.

This 550 Touring has been "better than my expectations".

I actually expected to have more problems than it has and other than that I had zero expectations trying to go into this as open minded as possible. IMHO it has held together better than I had expected.

It is also a lot more stable than I had expected too.

And I dislike the 4-wd and ADC more than I had expected.

It doens't ride as smooth as I had expected.

I like the EPS more than I had expected.

The clutch works better than I had expected.

So yes, I gave it an A according to the question asked.

It is happier. It likes them.

The two together make a pretty aggressive combination.

This is my most favorite thing about this ATV.

I carry my water sample test kit, a few tools I need every day and a few other needed items. I would take a Touring over an XP just for this little storage trunk. Its delux. And I think the added wheel base is a big plus too even though its only a few inches.

Why are the tail lights on all the time??? I hate that. How can you be stealth after dark with the tail lights on?? Can't really be stealth at all with all the noise this thing makes any way.

What do you like better about your Rubicon?
