Default Cooling Fan

I have a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 EFI. I'm getting a code 58. The fan will come on and shut off. Seems to have good RPM. I have cleaned the plug, but still get the code 58. any suggestions?
Thanks
Buzz

i couldn't find the code 58 in the manual. but if you unhook the sensor wire harness and turn the key to the on (not start it) the fan should come on and stay on. if it does the fan is working correctly and may be a bad sensor. also check for correct amount of coolant as it will effect running of the fan correctly as well as of air in the system.
