Default 97 scrambler front diff/eccentric bearing

anyone here know offhand what size or # the bearing and seal in the front diff/ eccentric takes ?

i check some online schematic but i only get a Polaris parts # 990882 for the bearing and #991018 for the seal no sizes.

leaving over a hour away from the dealer ...i would prefer picking the bearing and seal at a bearing store and then do the job in and out in the same day ...

any hint on the best way to do the job would also be appreciate .... should i remove the bearing with the eccentric in the chassis or how can i get this assembly out ?

also they call for open bearing ... should i use seal bearing and only remove the one inside bearing seal ?
....i would think this will help keeping the water and dust out better ...here i am thinking of drilling couple small hole in the one bearing seal to allow the grease to slip out without popping the bearing seal ...

try taking the parts to a local parts store to see if they can cross reference the numbers to another brand. just a thought.

Support the atv and remove the front drive shafts from the eccentric housing.Leave the eccentric in the frame. Use a seal puller(cheap about $5) and pull the seals, use a long punch and hit the inside race on each bearing and knock out of the eccentric and take the bearings and seals to match up as stendori mentioned. Lot of times the universal number(3603,3504,etc) is readable on the bearing for easy match up. Plus seals are an easy match up. Just use the unsealed bearings and keep em greased! OPT
