very funny and thanks for the offer, i would like to have the tools in case i need them in the future....not sure why but thats the story im sticking with.
What is the secondary tool, is that to pull the rear clutch?

Where did you get yours from?

Secondary tool allows you to compresss the secondary spring while you pop out the snap ring. It's basically a second pair of hands and it's easy enough to make one if you can weld. I can't so there went 70 bucks lol. I got mine at epi, they gave me free shipping because I bought a significant quantity from them.

thanks, i am about to order the entire kit from them with a new severe duty belt. I think i need to go too my local pol dealer and get the bushing that everyone speaks of, might as well replace it all while i am in there.
Also curious where in rhody do you reside? i live in southestern ma next to new bedford and frequent RI.

stick with the oem(stock) belt for best results.

My local dealer told me $140 for the oem belt, i am going to order everything from EPI, but i will skip getting there upgraded belt.

that is an extremely high price it seems but i haven't bought one a few years. the reason i say stick w/ oem is the tolences are alot better for the polaris application. meaning better aligment and better fit for less isuues down the road. just my

That's double what I paid the last time I got a belt but it's been several years. Inflation sucks.

$111 at Cycle Parts Warehouse,BUT with shipping not much less than local dealers! +1 on inflation sucks as jumbofrank remarked! OPT

wow, if thats what belts are going for now i would be extra careful not to burn or over heat one.
