HD springs (before and after pics)
#1
Just installed the Polaris HD springs $65. Seemed to pick the front up quite a bit. The HD springs are not much taller but they are way stiffer and are much thicker and more tightly wound. I only had a chance to ride it for a few min. tonight but love the feeling of the firmer front end for ride, and steering. It lifted the front so much that I need to adjust the Plow mount stops, because the blade wont touch the ground.
Thanks Stendori for your post with pics on how to install the front spacers. Thats what I used to get me going!

I see in your signature you have an aluma trailer...do you have a picture of it? What model?
I am looking at getting the 7712 (77 inches wide x 12 feet long) w/ sides. That way I can use it to haul yard debris, mulch, compost, etc. but take the sides off to load one in the front sideways w/ ramp and one forward with the drop gate. Thoughts on the quality?
Aluminum is the way to go for a long time investment I would think.
Springs look nice too! (I need to get a TV mounted in the garage....)

I Have a little Aluma 548 54"x8'
I havent been able to dig up a pic yet.
I have been very happy with the trailer. It has about 5k miles on it. pulls straight and nice. no bouncing, and its quiet. tires have no sign of uneven wear. It is nice how light and manageable they are when unhooked. Mine cost about $1300 but worth it IMO. I like the full size tires and alum. wheels. I did add a full size spare with alum. wheel which was another $175 or so. The thing feels solid too. some of the cheapy's I looked at would flex and tilt when you put weight on the front corners. Mine gets plenty of use being towed by the atv also. yard debris, I even put a small stand up jetski on it and submerge the trailer to launch the ski occasionally. Sometimes I wish I would have gone with a bigger one for other odd jobs. I wish they would stay as shiny as they are when new though. After being outside in the summers mine dulled up a bit.
