Default 09 850 xp

Hey all, I am looking for a little advise. I am looking at purchasing a 850 xp. Most likely a 09 as they are a little cheaper. Most of the ones I am looking at are between 2000-4500 miles. I know it depends on how well the atv is taken care of and mantained and price but at what point are there too many miles if you plan on keeping the bike a looong time.

thanks, Troy

A well taken care of atv now of days will last a very long time . I'd say you could get 30,000 to 40,000 miles plus out of a well cared for machine . There's a can-am guy who live's in another country who has around 25,000 miles and it's still going strong . I'v got 13,200 problem free miles on my 500 .

That's why I bought a 1200 ski-doo 4 stroke I was tired of my 2 stroke's going bang . A 4 stroke doo or yamaha will go 20-30 thousand miles there out there already .

Are the XP's really as reliable as the old ones? I wish there was someone with 13k miles on an XP, hahaha

yeah- that's the point I was going to make- there are a few important upgrades on the 2010 xp also- you may want to go for a 2010 just to avoid the hassel.
