hi, i have 05 sawtooth 200 i believe and it is having running problems. the weird thing about it is the unit starts right up and runs great for a good hour or so but then it bogs out and dies out of no where. after this the unit might start back up with the choke in the full on position while i give it gas but it will die very quickly after. i have taken it to 3 different dealers and a mechanic and they all say its fine. the thing is they havent seen it not run well. i began to think the gas tank was getting vapor locked but that idea has not a lot of support. this unit is still in good condition and i would love to get my family and friends back on it. any ideas on the problem?

Should be an 06 Sawtooth. Has any one replaced or checked out the fuel pump or fuel lines? Plus also the carb adaper and o-rings for seeping air? The fuel cap vent itself is open? Plus there were revised spark plug requirements and some carb update bulletins if I remember. The dealers should have caught this? OPT

 

thank for the ideas those seem like good things to check. i know that the vent is open and i pull the gas cap everytime it dies hoping it is getting vapor locked and taking of the cap will loosen everything up. thanks for the help
