Default Lift/Spring Question

I have a 03 Sportsman 700. I currently have EPI HD rear springs installed. I have a set for the front but have been debating about installing the 2 in Highlifter lift kit I have and taking off the HD springs. I have also though about leaving the HD spring on and adding the lift but was told I would definatly have axle issues. I am really not wanting axle problems. Does anyone have any insight on this? I am wanting it to look meaner but not if I'm going to have major issues. Thanks. Also if it matters I have a stock clutch and 26in Swamp Lites.

Shouldn't have issues lifting it 2" but axles will wear sooner than without because of the increased angle. I had an 02 700 years ago that I lifted 2" with bigger tires and beat the snot out of it without wrecking any axles.
