Default Tired of tires going flat?

I don't know if this trick has ever been put on this forum in the past, but here is an alternative to using Slime in tires leaking air. Out of 4 tires, 3 of mine were bleeding air; one was so bad that it would sit on the rim within 24 hours. I had purchased a can of Slime but was reluctant to use it because I had read here it would make a mess inside the tires.

I read on a French hunting site about a guy putting coolant fluid in the tires to stop the air leakage. The recipe called for approx a cup of coolant by tire and to give the ATV a ride to disperse it inside the tires. Some people tried it and claimed it worked.

I gave it a try and it has been a week and no more leak. Thank you ATV gods! Not evident to hook the compressor in the morning at -20 celsius!

How do you get the coolant into the tire?

I have read that somewhere before.
Chadley, you have to drill a hole in the tire and pour it in.
Just givin' ya a hard time. You pull the valve core and use something like a large syringe to get the coolant in the tire. Don't know how it works, but have heard it will help seal a bead leak as well.

When you change tires, you will still have liquid to contend with. I myself would rather deal with the Slime as compared to the coolant......

Just a teaspoon of coolant can kill a dog or cat. I think Slime is probably safer.

Yea I am sure its not safe, but if a cup of coolant will help with that very slow leak that slime didn't. I will try it. Besides I never pore my antifreeze out on the ground. I pore mine in my neighbors water well so no animals can get to it. Bahahaha. Just kidding
