Once you have the dumpbox you'll never go back. It's nice to have the most work oriented quad that's available. The convertible dump box/passenger seat makes it that much more enjoyable. I don't often have a passenger, maybe 2-3 times per year out of about 20 rides a year. I do use the dumpbox quite a bit. Mostly for firewood collection and moving from woodpile to a rack I have on my deck. It is soooooo much better than using a wheelbarrow. Nothing like filling a wheelbarrow heaped up with firewood just to lose it on ice in the wintertime. I love my quad in the utilitarian sense.

I like the X2 with the cargo box....it really comes in handy.....plus the box is like a big "hood", lift it up and you have lots of access to the backend. The main reason for me is the Turf Mode.....to me it's a must have......and the bonus of brakes on all fours.

I'm not sure why Polaris limits some of their options the way they do. They won't do an X2 850 with EPS. Why wouldn't they want to do that?

Something else that bugs me is their color choices. Why not offer every model with every color? You've got the dang plastics at the factory why not give the customer choices? I was looking at an 850 touring since you can't get an 850 X2 with EPS. For some reason they won't offer camo in either the touring or the X2. I want camo because it doesn't show scratches. I use my ATVs in heavy brush on the farm and a painted finish would be scratched all to hell after the first ride.

Polaris please build the X2 with EPS in both 550 and 850 and please offer the camo option in both the X2 and the touring. Please.

When I first bought the X2 the color choice was Blk/Slv. That was it! 500cc was the only engine offered too. I had waited a couple months but decided it was time. Of course a couple months later they came out with the 700cc and had camo available....
