NADA is what we went by on trade ins and such at the shop(like a lot of dealers) and Kelly Blue Book is mainly what an individual can sell it for himself (Hopefully ... I think car dealers have a book that's even lower than NADA prices,at least I've heard, haven't seen it? OPT

dealers actually have there own version on the nada book w/ alot low prices lol. if you look at it and it says low book that is most likely where they think is a good price to give you. to me the price of that bike he's asking about is a little high as i've seen 800's even cheaper for the same year.

We had regular NADA issued motorcycle and atv pocket books that anyone actually can pick up,but auto dealers have another even lower book than the NADA auto books, that a "Mr. Good wrench" mechanic who was a good customer of ours told us about,BUT I can't remember what the name of it was? OPT

I don't think I'd go over $4k.

you should be able to find an 06 800 sp for $4600.

I'd rather have thiis one for $5k

i agree as the 800 is a better deal all around then the 700 would be for even a better price if you shop around.

It sounds like a great deal according to the little that I can find around here, the best that I've found is a 2005 700 for $6k, with nothing much on it. I know that there are a few 4,000+ mile units out there for a bit less, but its terrible finding anything of value.

I too am looking for a 3 accross front seat and ideally with a cab, plow & tracks for about $9 - $10 is about right, but they're as rare as hen's teeth, I can't find one.
