I've always used mobile-1 0w-40 synthetic with no issues. I know the newer models are supposed to run 2w-50 and I can't say I've ever seen that weight on an auto parts store shelf. But if memory serves me right a mobile-1 0w-50 is available. I would think that would be just fine, I'd use it, but don't take my word for it.

I've always used the Mobil 1 as well in My Polaris'. Down here it's readily available and comparitively inexpensive at Walmart.

$15 a quart? I pay about $25 a gallon for Mobil 1. At least it's only a few quarts, it's not like diesel truck that drinks 3-4 gallons.

You sure wouldn't like the price of Motorex 2 stroke and four stroke oil recommended for KTMs! Our retail price was about $19 for the 4 stroke and almost $20 for the two stroke oil! I know Amsoil is great oil,but my pocket book now that I've retired says Mobil 1 too OPT
