Default Fuel Regulator

Has anyone figured out a cheaper solution for the fuel pressure regulator? Polaris wants me to buy the whole tank, and fuel sending unit $500+.

These are numbers i found for the fuel pressure regulators searching other sites....Regulators:

PR210 Standard Motor Products, eBay and Amazon, and others
BWD 23020 Borg Warner O’Reilly’s
CRB 219679 NAPA part number

Automotive application for regulator: 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 5.2L V-8
The number for the fuel pumps can be found on this site...i prefer the carter replacement pumps and they can be found online for about 90 dollars shipped. They include the strainer. Carter pump number P72118.

I noticed on the picture on O'reilly website that the regulator has a vac line on it. How would this work, seeing as how this regulator is in the tank around gas?BWD 23020 - Fuel Pressure Regulator | O'Reilly Auto Parts

I just wanted to let people know what I found to be a perfect replacement for the fuel pressure regulator on a 2007 Sportsman 500 EFI (Many other EFI models should be the same). I ended up pulling the fuel pump assembly out to replace the regulator with an aftermarket unit that this thread stated would fit, but it wouldn't (PR210 Standard Motor Products). However, I did notice that it looked like a bosch regulator used on many Audi's. Being an Audi mechanic, I grabbed a used one, and it is exactly the same as the Polaris regulator except for the vacuum reference nipple, which is no big deal, and it fit perfectly. The one I had was a 4 bar, which is too much, but the same regulator is available in a 3 bar, which is almost perfect. If polaris fuel pressure spec is 39 +/-3 psi, then 3 bar would be 43.5 psi. I figure, with friction loss and restrictions, pressure after the filter would be perfect. Found them on Amazon for $27 (Bosch 0280160557). Hope this helps.
