New to the Polaris world. Got a 05 Trailblazer over the weekend. The chain is loose, how do I adjust it. The chain guard is loose also, try tightening the bolt, but does get tight. Any help would be great.

 

Pretty easy process. First, loosen the two bolts on the bottom of the rear brake caliper. Then loosen the bolts on the axle carrier. If you roll the quad forward or backwards, you should see the chain either loosen or tighten. Honestly, it's been a while since I've done it, so not sure which direction will do what, but you'll be able to see it when it's done. Get the chain to the right tension and just tighten the axle then caliper bolts.

Now there are some who have a person sit on the seat or use a ratchet strap to put a load on the suspension when they do this. I never did on ours, and it held up just fine.
