2010 Scrambler 500 Winch Mount?
#1
Anyone know where I can get a winch mounting plate for my 2010 Scrambler 500 4x4? Tried a ebay search and only see up to 2009. 10's had a different bumper so not sure if 09 will work. Thanks!

Never seen a 2010 in person, but from pics it looks like the bumper is the same but with some "wings" attached to form sort of a brush guard. The mount for the earlier models might work. Only problem I see is mounting a winch there would block the headlight.

That's what I was thinking also. Thinking the headlight won't be an issue. The older models had plastic all the way down to where the current headlight is. If anything, I can mount some driving lights in another spot if need be. Don't want to be without a winch especially when my daughter has it out. I can lift it out of anything by hand but she can't and winching is much easier! Been taking it out more lately mainly because when I decide last minute to go riding it's much easier to just throw it in the back of my truck with some gas/gear and hit the mud as opposed to hooking up the trailer to haul my RZR.

I can't seem to find them now, but there was someone that made a full winch bumper that mounts the winch down lower in front of the radiator.
On mine I actually just took the universal bracket that came with my winch and welded it on.

OK, I found them now. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they are selling them on their website anymore, and I don't know if it would fit a 2010+ Scrambler. IIRC, they were rather expensive too. (around $250 I think)
This is the place that was selling them, might be worth shooting them an email and see if they still make them.

Thanks Raven! Trying to keep this project low budget. Can get a promark 3,000-lb winch with synthetic cable and accessories for under $200. Hoping to hear back from the dealer today. They are doing some checking for me.
