You'll have to have the resistance specs for the pulse coil and charge coil on the stator, plus the coil primary and secondary. Most of the time it's stator related, don't remember any coil or cdi problems off hand. I should remember this but I don't! Maybe someone on the forum can give you the specs if they have the manual or you can try PartShark.com - Motorcycle Parts, ATV Parts, UTV Parts, PWC Parts, Powersports Apparel, Motorcycle Accessories for OEM and Aftermarket. and see if their back up and running on manuals. ok well since i still havent gotten a reply on here ive been doing alot of searching and the are 4 wires that go to the cdi and are coming from the stator area and the white/red and white omh out at 105 that should be the pick up and the black/red and red wires should be the stator and i cant get anything on those wires
so if im rite about the wiring that would mean my stator went bad rite?

White/red to white 90-115 ohms + or - 20% on the pick up coil. Black/red to red I think was 244 or 284 ohms + or - 20% on stator charge coil.Sorry that it took you to have to perk up my old memory
Sounds like the stator charge coil is toast.. Or you could have a short in the charge coil wires up to the cdi. Try this : Ricky Stator - Manufacturer of ATV & Dirt Bike Stators, Electrical Components, Lighting Systems and Suspension Products or try http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/results.php Stator charge coil is $225 at Ricks.
