Polaris wanted the testers back that they "gave" to the dealers when they were checking the original Chinese modules back in late 2005 when they came out with the "improved' Shure Power American made modules. The testers weren't any thing exotic, just had leads specially made to plug in the ecm modules. Guess I should have said mine was lost and kept it All it did was just like a load tester for a battery. You hooked it up,flipped a switch and while under a load,if you had a green light the Chinese module was supposed to be good. Then you placed two greens dots(with the Polaris supplied pen on the ecm to verify to any other mechanic that might have worked on the atv for other reasons that the ecm had been tested before. Little did I or other mechanics know what was to come when all these really started failing, then the replacements started failing.......... Glad the dealer is working with you. OPT

I am hoping it works out. They seem to be very willing to help, but the promise of a reply within 24 hrs is wishful thinking.

Just an update. Don't want to shed bad light on parts supplier. I called today and left a message and they called me back about an hour later. UPS will pick up bad part tomorrow and another one will be shipped out. Thanks for the help and now to wait for the next delivery.
