2005 90cc spark plug
#1
Should my spark plug wire on my sons 90cc shock me when I have it off and holding the outside of it trying to start it? My new issue is now it won't start in 90-95 degree weather at all. Took plug wire off and held it on the outside and tried starting it and it shocked the crap out of me.

If you ground your other hand to any metal you can get shocked just holding the cap away from the plug. You might check for a cracked plug cap though, could be part of the problem. Plus do a compression check if you have the gauge. If not you can always try the thumb pop test off the the spark plug hole. Should be enough compression to pop your thumb off. OPT

I think this is fan cooled? I should hear a fan right? I have had this a month and have never heard a fan kicking on after he rides it. Could it be possible that a sensor of some sort is preventing it to start to prevent damage like an oil sensor or fan sensor? Just a thought.

The only fan on the little 90 is the plastic fins mounted on the flywheel that cool the stator and flywheel as the engine runs. You must have air, fuel, compression and spark. If you are getting good spark(if not try a new plug), could be the carb may need to be cleaned, compression might be low, etc. OPT
