I have a 1990 trail boss 250 and this is my first post by the way I cam here for yelp it has a gas leak and I have found that it is leaking out of the fuel shut off valve on the bottom of the gas tank and it I went to all of the auto part stores and they don't have them and I've talked to Polaris and different shops and they all have told me that Polaris no longer makes nor sells that part and I can't find it on eBay and I can't tun it because gas plus hot motor can't end well also another problem that it has is that it has a brand new battery atleast that's what who I bought it from said however I have to jump it everytime that I wanted to ride and then I rode it for an hour and a half attempting to charge the battery but it still won't start and then one last thing shouldn'tthese have a pull start back up because I can't find it for the life of ne

The older a machine gets the harder parts are to find.Use a volt meter and check charging at the battery while running,should be between 13.5 -14.5 volts.
