Default 2004.5 Polaris 500 H.O. Battery change

I changed my battery and my four wheeler won't even register. I called the dealer and he said it may be the fusible link. I have a winch on my atv. Anybody have any ideas what could have happened to my starter?

start with the basics. is the cables hooked up correctly. pos + red, black neg. -. then make sure the cables are tight on the solenoid and starter. I'm assuming the battery has a full charge. yes it is possiable that a fuseable link is blown. look for a black pouch type area in the line somewhere and that would be the link.
