Default individual carb jets

im wondering if i can go to my polaris dealer and purchase individual jets for my scrambler 500. im going to be using the fmf powercore4 and want to use their reccomended specs, but cant get any jet size listings from any of the readily available kits. and since fmf suggests use of all stock carb components other than the pilot and main jet, i need to just buy a 160 main and a 40 pilot.

Take the old ones with you,as there are a couple different styles of pilot jets, threads are different.
You may also try a yamaha dealer or about any motorcycle shop.

The dealer should be able to order the jets. Seems they never had the ones I needed in stock. You can also check out some places online and they may be cheaper, but you'll also pay shipping. If you do order online, I'd call the store after checking prices and tell them they'll fit in an envelope and see if they'll reduce the shipping charges.

The mains should be a non-issue,but i believe they have 2 different thread-style of pilot jets.
Unless you like to make two trips. good luck
