Non starter after fuel clean out.

Non starter after fuel clean out.
For the second time in three months, I've had water in my fuel. I'm sure it is forming inside my Rubbermaid plastic jerry can.
Anyway, took the tank out and emptied it. Unscrewed the drain on the carb and blew through the fuel line from the tank outlet until fluid stopped coming out the carb drain.
Put it all back together with fresh fuel and now can't start it. The fuel is not leaving the tank. I've since had the float out and replaced it carefully, can't see any issues with it.
Do I need to pressurise the tank? Or can I bleed it from somewhere?
Thanks for any tips.

My ATV every time I pull it out in the spring after a long sit with no fuel in the carb would never start on its own.
I have to cheat the first start with ether starter spray in the air box to get it running then its good for the season.
Might work for you also to get things flowing again.

Eventually got it going again. I blew into the tank through the breather while cranking it and it started on the third or fourth turn.
Built it all back up again and got the new plow mounted.
Imagine my disappointment when I tried to reverse it out the garage and it wouldn't rev up!!!! The exact problem in the first place.
I'll try again tomorrow.

You may have to either dump the tank or pressurize it with a small fuel hose leading out into another gas can and mop the tank. If it just idles and wont take throttle you still have water in the tank, fuel lines and fuel pump. I've had to do this many times on atv's and especially water craft(8 gallons of gas wasted!)that were contaminate and wouldn't run,or would just idle and wouldn't accept throttle. The pilot jet will take the fuel at idle, but the main jet will suck up any residual water and gas and bog down. OPT

It's the bloody battery!!!!!!!!!!!!
The battery was knackered again so I ordered a performance replacement from Odyssey. Whilst waiting on this to arrive I've been using a car battery as a booster. I've been starting the bike with it then disconnecting it. I then can't get the bike to rev up. I realised tonight when it's still connected it revs up without fault! Disconnect it and it won't rev up again!
So, I got the booster strapped to the back rack and made up some decent cables to connect it to the bike's battery. I've been plowing the drive and the street all night without a problem!!!!!!
I'm now suspicious if there was ever water in it at all, but the less said about that the better :-)
