Default What is small wiring harness for

I have a Polaris 2005 500 HO. I found this wire harness coming out below the speedometer housing and was wondering what it was, maybe came unplugged or something else. It's a white 3 wire inline plug that measures on the face 1/4" x 5/8". The wire colors are brown, blue and green. The blue and green have 4.96 volts when the key is turn on or when the motor is running. The brown seems to be a ground. Thanks for the help in advance.

Just stuff it back up under the pod area. It's a diagnostic/check plug as they come down the assembly line. Polaris has always just let these hang out and we just stuff em back into the pod out of the way.
