I have a 03 predstor 500. The problem im having is i have gears 1,3,4,5 but my second sounds like it trying to catch but never really does and if it does somewhat it slips bad. Thanks for the help.

 

This could be anything from something simple such as the shift cam or return spring ( item 40 ) on up to the shift forks or a gear problem. You wont really know until you at least take the clutch cover off to inspect the shift shaft and if that look ok,then you may have to split the engine to find out.
