Why so many posts here?

The large number of post on the Polaris page could be because it is so easy to get from the Polaris industries home page to the Atv connection site there is a direct link on the Polaris Home page so any curious browser could stumble into the site just like I did . I have checked some other manufactures sites and they did not have the link to the connection or at least it was not so easy to find. The Polaris site has a large links listing which leads into more links. I have not seen but a fraction of them and I am on my computer daily. To you non Polaris owners you may want to visit the Polaris site because there is a lot of info on it in the links that is not directly related to Polaris products ( Accesories , riding gear , trails, performance products for all makes.

I find that pretty cool that Polaris has a link to the ATV Connection!
ANyhow, I believe the versatility of the Scrambler series that has made this forum so popular. Name another Sport 4x4 that is as sporty and able to handle many different situations. They are comfortable to ride, can go many different places, and are relativiely quick as well. Especially the 400 when moded. My buddy bought a brand new 98 500 Scrambler and I used to bunk on it quite a bit. I mean it is the color of Barney and all! But i have grown to really respect that machine. If there are any doubters, check out Adam Dowdens web page, he has many pics of his 500 Scrambler going through hella mud. Now i believe he may have gotten stuck once or twice, but the point is that at least he could try! I could not take my Quadracer anywhere near where him and his buddies were going. And i know most if not all other 2 wheel drives would be bummin!.
Wish I could afford 2 machines then I would get a 400 Scrambler 4x4.

RoostKing,
I think you may be right, the Scramblers definitely have the market cornered when it comes to Sporty 4WD machines. Now if we could get Polaris to cut 100lbs and offer them with the option of a manual transmission. They would sell like hotcakes.
Scott.

The only thing I will post about Polaris posts will usually be about how I own a Sportsman Lemon.Andy was so right when he brought up my many problems with my 99 Sportsman.I spent 8000$$ on my 99 model with many Polaris accessories and wound up with so many problems that not even Polaris will take it back and give me a new 99.The dealer has the ***** to tell me to go and buy a 2000 Sportsman and they will sell my 99 for me,BIG DEAL POLARIS.The only thing Polaris has going for them is all their differant models and the Auto trans. They certainly could care less about keeping a customer happy with his-her purchase.I vow never to buy or recommend Polaris to NOBODY. GOOD DAY BILL

I think your all wrong! It's just simply because this is where you will find ME!!hehehe No really though. I think that it's just because the Polaris owners are more interesting, and the lineup is so diverse. Also there is no Polaris bashing here, everybody just seems to want to help. Or maybe it's just because other atv owners can't figure out a computer, or a grease fitting for that matter. MORE POWER TO THE POLARIS PEOPLE!!!! Ride on brothers.

Sheese Bill Give it a rest your gonna bust a vessel . WE got your point on like July 29th . Sorry about your bad luck. Remember things can only get better .... hopefully. I am a atv mechanic I hear these horror stories every day don,t get the idea that its just polaris that has problems all the manufactures do the same. They let the dealers handle situations that they could and should help with. Know a guy with a Grizzly with 86 miles on it this past sunday that can,t leave the house without trouble of some sort so maybe you should just take the loss and try something else. I finally break away from the addiction of this site for ? months (with the help of my new Larson 206 LXi) only to return to the same tired old debate going on! "Why do Polaris owners brag so much about their machines?" they ask. "Why does it seem like so many people are deciding to buy Polaris machines?" they wonder. "Why would people repeatedly overlook the reputation Polaris has had as a lemon bucket?" they scream.
Will no one answer the cries of the non Polaris owners. Will no one offer them relief from their misery. Does no one have the wisdom to free them from their eternal confusion?
GOD: "Polaris rules! So let it be written. So let it be done."
Well... There you have it.

Why should Bill "give it a rest" any sooner than Polaris gives him a fair deal? He paid his hard earned money, he trusted Polaris to deliver a quality product, he was a staunch Polaris supporter, and he was outspoken on how much he liked his machine. So instead of doing all they can to help him out, Polaris just turns their back on him.
In Bill's place, I'd be squealing loud and long. Even if it ultimately does him no good, he can at least take satisfaction in helping to prevent others from suffering the same loss and frustration he feels.

Uh uh Dane. I don't think so. I was... uh... interacting with God just the other night, and you don't look anything like her!
Polaris may RULE in the game of ordering repair parts, but that's a championship I'll gladly relinquish!

What? Bill's upset with Polaris?
I'm shocked! Shocked!
Sorry, Bill; couldn't resist. "Ask not, for whom the bell tolls," and all that; "Into each life, some rain must fall," etc. Misfortunes like yours could happen to anyone, including me.
But I enjoy irony! I remember how quickly you once moved, defending Polaris from all enemies, domestic and foreign, and attacking any post even remotely interpretable as critical of Polaris. "Whose ox gets gored" shapes everyone's attitude. (Hey! I'm running out of cliche's to quote!) Your pro-Polaris arguments were always civil, honorable and respectful, I hasten to add, to your great credit. I appreciate your honesty now, candidly discussing your recent problems.
I extend you my sincere condolences and hope you settle things to your satisfaction with the manufacturer and seller of your (once) favorite steed. I don't think for a moment any quad brand or any quad rider is immune from your unpleasant situation; I take no pleasure in your misery (coulda been me!); forgive me for choosing you to "unwittingly represent, a source of innocent merriment." (Last quote!) Good luck!
