Default Hey ya'll!!! I'm back!!!

After a long hiatus of not having reliable internet, building a house, a few different girlfriends and life basically taking over I'm finally back to the forums. My last login was 01-12-2011 according to the message in the top of the screen so its been a while. Since then I've also moved, I'm now living in Whitehorse, Yukon and it's incredible here!!!

Those that may remember me, I was riding a 2007 Sportsman 500 EFI that was modded a lot and I had an ongoing front diff problem that was solved after countless overhauls and countless diff replacements. I finally had the diff working great and the bike was exactly how I wanted it to work when it was stolen from my Father's shop. A week later it was found in the bush, completely stripped down and burnt to a crisp. I was completely devastated!!!

After a long battle with insurance I made a horrible mistake, I bought a 2011 AC 700 Limited and it's been a POS right from day one. Power steering has been throwing codes, diff lock never works when I need it (works awesome anytime the dealer has it of course) the charging system won't keep up when plowing with the headlights on, and of course no recoil so i keep a small set of booster cables with me. With only 320 miles on the ticker I'm ready to trade it in.

So my next decision is little easier, I'm definitely going to buy another Polaris and it'll definitely be an 850. But the hard part is deciding if I want another Sportsman or the new Scrambler. After owning an 03 Scrambler and loving it to bits, then owning my 07 Sportsman and loving it too, it's a tough call. Both bikes look incredible, Polaris is still on top as far as I'm concerned. I bought a sportbike (02 SV 650) so a big thumper is too slow feeling for me now, but the 850 twin makes some serious power out of the box so I think it'll keep my need for speed satisfied at least for a while.

So I guess I'm looking for input. Who has an 850 XP?? What do you like and dislike about it?? Any major problems?
And who has a new Scrambler? Likes and dislikes?

The Scrambler looks like a Sportsman with different plastic and no racks. You may as well get the Sportsman so you have racks.

I can't seem to get exited about a sportsman. too plain, too common. having said that remember no ADC on the scrambler. So if you ride in the mountains a lot, that may be the selling point for the sportsman.

I'm kind of leaning towards the Sportsman only because it has ADC, I'm definitely going to be doing a lot of mountain riding and I remember ADC on my 07 worked awesome!! I'm headed to the Polaris store Saturday after work to start my shopping I think.
